Both of her children went on to obtain Bachelor’s degrees in Communications {Television & Video Production and Public Relations} from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Missouri Western State University respectively. A huge part of her returning to graduate school was to show her children that academic success was possible even 30-plus years past completion of undergraduate education.
